Combination Therapy (IFT+TENS+US)
LCS-153

Combination Therapy (IFT+TENS+US) LCS-153 :This all-in-one platform combines three gold-standard modalities—Interferential Therapy (IFT), Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) and Therapeutic Ultrasound (US)—to tackle pain, edema and tissue healing from every angle. Medium-frequency IFT penetrates deep muscles and joints for long-lasting analgesia, low-frequency TENS gates acute surface pain, and pulsed or continuous US delivers localized thermal and micromassage effects that speed cellular repair. With a single device clinicians can glide from pain relief to deep-heat therapy without re-wiring cables or shuffling machines, streamlining workflows and maximising patient throughput.
LCS-153S — Triple-Modality Therapy Unit (IFT + TENS + Ultrasound) The LCS-153S brings together deep-acting Interferential Therapy (IFT), surface-level Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) and healing Therapeutic Ultrasound (US) in a single, clinic-ready platform. A smooth-turn rotary encoder drive a bright graphical LCD, so therapists can jump between programmes or fine-tune parameters in seconds. Safety is built-in: a one-touch Probe-Test verifies leads and pads before IFT starts, while preset libraries speed treatment selection and maintain protocol consistency across staff.

Key Clinical Benefits
- Triple-modal versatility —deep analgesia with medium-frequency IFT, surface pain gating with TENS, and tissue-heating / micromassage with 1 MHz ultrasound.
- Deliver ultrasound first to warm tissues, then switch to IFT or TENS without re-cabling—streamlines treatment flow in busy clinics.
- Custom pulse-width TENS and variable ultrasound duty cycles let therapists tailor protocols from acute injuries to chronic tendinopathies.
- Two isolated channels treat bilateral or agonist–antagonist muscle groups simultaneously with the same electro-modality, cutting chair-time in half.
- No use over pacemakers, cardioverter-defibrillators or the anterior neck.
- Avoid abdomen & pelvis during pregnancy; ultrasound is also contraindicated over the uterus.
- Do not treat malignant tissue, active infection, thrombophlebitis or over open wounds.
- Ultrasound: avoid epiphyseal growth plates in children and over areas of diminished thermal sensation.
- Real-time impedance feedback for IFT cuts current to zero if pad contact is lost or impedance surges.
- Automatic power compensation maintains stable dose throughout therapy.
- One-touch Probe-Test instantly flags faulty leads or electrodes—watch the demo at 10 : 10.
- Ultrasound head includes built-in contact & over-heat sensor to protect patient and transducer crystal.
- 1. What makes the LCS-153S different from the LCS-152S?
- Alongside IFT and TENS, the 153S adds a full 1 MHz ultrasound module—letting you combine deep heat with electro-therapy from one unit.
- 2. Can I run IFT and TENS together?
- No. The unit delivers one electro-analgesic modality at a time. You can, however, follow ultrasound with either IFT or TENS in the same session.
- 3. When should I add ultrasound to my protocol?
- Use ultrasound for chronic tendinopathy, capsular tightness or scar tissue. The thermal effect increases blood flow and makes subsequent IFT/TENS currents more comfortable.
- 4. How does the Probe-Test feature work?
- Press PROBE TEST; a micro-pulse checks cable and pad continuity. PASS / FAIL shows in seconds—demo at the link above.
- 5. Is the LCS-153S hospital-grade?
- Absolutely. It is manufactured under ISO 13485 and CDSCO registration, with an aluminium frame and SMT electronics for long service life.
